Y’all know I’ve been working on sunscreen for a while! In fact, I looked at my lab notebook and saw that I made my first trial in June of 2024. So this product is two years in the making!
Without further ado, I introduce you to… Foresight Sunscreen!
It’s a broad spectrum SPF 30 meant to feel like your favorite moisturizer - so you actually want to wear it everyday!

Why is sunscreen an important part of my skincare routine?
Sunscreens are approved by the FDA to help prevent sunburn. When used as directed, sunscreens decrease the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun. Wearing sunscreen is one of the best things you can do now to keep your skin healthy for the future!
What is the active ingredient in Foresight Sunscreen?
Non-nano Zinc Oxide at 18.9%
Is Foresight Sunscreen a broad spectrum sunscreen?
Yes, it’s been tested to protect against both UVA and UVB rays, making it broad spectrum.
What skin types will Foresight Sunscreen work for?
It’s designed for all skin types, but especially great for sensitive and acne-prone skin types due to its lightweight texture.
Do I still need to wear a moisturizer under Foresight Sunscreen?
That’ll depend on your skin type and probably the time of year! For drier skin, apply Day & Night Cream before Foresight Sunscreen. For oilier skin types, Foresight Sunscreen can act as your morning moisturizer.
Is Foresight Sunscreen waterproof?
No, it’s not. We’ve designed this to be a daily face sunscreen, not necessarily the sunscreen you wear to the beach. Ingredients that create water resistance tend to be heavier and stickier, which was not the aesthetic we were shooting for with this product.
Does Foresight Sunscreen have other skin benefits?
Yes! I included Knotgrass Extract, a natural ingredient shown to increase skin firmness and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, even after sun exposure. So you’ll be getting anti-aging benefits alongside sun protection.
Does Foresight Sunscreen leave a white cast?
As a Zinc Oxide sunscreen, Foresight Sunscreen is not completely transparent and may leave a slight cast on darker skin tones. While I believe this to be one of the most sheer Zinc Oxide sunscreens on the market, there are limitations to this ingredient that can’t be ignored.
What is the texture of Foresight Sunscreen?
Foresight Sunscreen is a thin lotion consistency. It’s very fluid and easy to rub in, with a lightweight, non-greasy texture.
How much Foresight Sunscreen should I use per application?
We recommend using 5-8 pumps of sunscreen for face and neck. Each pump contains about 15 mg of product, and depending on your face size, you’ll want somewhere from 75 mg (5 pumps) to 120 mg (8 pumps). Another rule of thumb is approximately ¼ teaspoon for face and neck.
Does Foresight Sunscreen come in sustainable packaging?
Yes, Foresight Sunscreen comes in a 2 oz glass bottle with a plastic pump. We offer a 2X Size in an aluminum bottle with aluminum cap. Clean glass and aluminum can be recycled curbside in most U.S. cities.
Why did you choose to formulate a sunscreen with Zinc Oxide?
There are 16 FDA-approved active ingredients for sunscreen products in the United States. Zinc Oxide is the only one that is broad spectrum on its own, and it is one of 2 that is Generally Recognized As Safe and Effective (GRASE). Additionally, it is non-comedogenic and soothing, making it great for sensitive and acne-prone skin types.
