Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil
Argan oil is a stellar moisturizer used for its skin reparative benefits and low chance of clogging pores. Ours is USDA Organic sourced from Morocco.
B
Brassica Alcohol
Brassica alcohol is a thickener derived from brassica, a sustainable crop grown without pesticides and GMO’s. Ours is sourced in the USA.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter
Shea butter is a highly moisturizing ingredient from shea nut. Ours is USDA Organic sourced from West Africa.

Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil
Camellia oil or tea seed oil is high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds to help soothe and reduce redness. We use USDA Organic camellia oil sourced from China.
Citric Acid
Citric acid is a pH adjusting ingredient produced via fermentation of sugars such as molasses and corn starch. Ours is sourced in the USA.
C13-15 Alkane (Hemisqualane)
Hemisqualane is a lightweight emollient with great cleansing properties. This novel ingredient is sourced through a sustainable biotechnology process based on the fermentation of sugarcane in Brazil.
Caprylyl Glycol (and) 1,2-Hexanediol
Caprylyl Glycol (and) 1,2-Hexanediol is a blend of two multi-functional ingredients that have antimicrobial properties. It is a common replacement for preservatives in naturally-derived products.

Decyl Glucoside
Decyl glucoside is a gentle surfactant that helps remove dirt and impurities. Made by reacting sugar with vegetable oil, ours is palm-free and sourced in the United Kingdom.

Gardenia Jasminoides Fruit Extract (and) Maltodextrin
Gardenia extract is a natural powder of gardenia flower that imparts color to the formulation without using petrochemical dyes.
Glycerin
Glycerin is humectant that draws water into the skin to improved hydration. Ours is USDA organic and derived from flax seed.
3-Glyceryl Ascorbate
3-Glyceryl Ascorbate is a Vitamin C derivative that promotes skin hydration. It is created by the reaction of three glycerin molecules with ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
Glyceryl Citrate/Lactate/Linoleate/Oleate
This emulsifier is derived from sunflower and sugar beet root sourced in Central Europe. Designed for sustainability, this emulsifier allows for low energy processing of oil-in-water emulsions like our Dream Cleanser.
Glyceryl Stearate Citrate
Glyceryl stearate citrate is an emulsifier in the Day & Night Cream. It is currently sourced in the USA from soy oil and glycerin, although we are looking for other suppliers that can guarantee a GMO-free product.
Glyceryl Stearate SE
Glyceryl stearate SE is an emulsifier in the Day & Night Cream. It is currently sourced in the USA from soy oil and RSPO Mass Balance glycerin.

Hydroxyacetophenone
Hydroxyacetophenone is an ingredient used to boost preservation. It is a nature-identical chemical (naturally found in Norwegian Spruce and Cloudberries), but is produced synthetically.
L
Lactobacillus Ferment
Lactobacillus ferment is a probiotic-based ingredient with anti-microbial and moisturizing properties. Sourced in the USA, it allows for the preservation of formulas without use of synthetic preservatives.
Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract
Pomegranate enzyme is used to provide gentle exfoliation without the acidic pH needed for most AHA’s. Ours is sourced in the USA and made by fermenting the leftover rinds of pomegranate.
Lauryl Glucoside
Lauryl glucoside is a mild surfactant made by reacting sugars with vegetable oil. Ours is palm-free and sourced in the United Kingdom

Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract
Prickly pear extract, or nopal extract, is an ingredient shown to reduce stress markers in vitro, and to calm sensitive and irritated skin. It is derived from organic cactus in Mexico.

Pentylene Glycol
Pentylene glycol is a humectant that helps hydrate skin. Ours is uniquely sourced in the USA from materials left over after sugarcane production, known as bagasse.
Polyhydroxystearic acid is a pliable wax derived from castor oil that helps create plasticity without the use of beeswax. Sourced in the USA.
Punica Granatum Sterols
Pomegranate phytosterols are a moisturizing powerhouse derived from pomegranate seed oil in the USA.

Rosa Rubiginosa (Rosehip) Seed Oil
Rosehip seed oil is known for anti-aging benefits due to high antioxidant content (specifically tocopherols and carotenoids). Ours is USDA Organic and sourced in Chile.

Sclerotium Gum
Scelerotium gum is a thickener that imparts a smooth feel to the formulation. It is a polysaccharide made through fermentation in France.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil
Jojoba is a drought-resistant shrub, and jojoba oil (also known as jojoba wax) contains esters that help skin retain moisture. Its composition is similar to skin sebum, and thus it may help with balancing oily or acne-prone skin. Ours is USDA Organic and sourced in Peru.
Sodium Gluconate
Sodium gluconate is used to maintain formula stability, and is one of the only renewably-derived chelating agents. Ours is produced through fermentation of sugars and sourced in Germany.
Sodium Levulinate (and) Sodium Anisate
Dermosoft Eco 1388 is an antimicrobial blend that helps maintain formula integrity. It’s made of plant-derived organic acids.
Sodium Hyaluronate
Sodium hyaluronate is the salt of hyaluronic acid, a humectant known for deep skin hydration. Ours is medium molecular weight and produced by the fermentation process of Streptococcus zooepidemicus in China at an ISO certified factory.
Sunflower Wax
Sunflower wax is a derivative of sunflower oil that is used to create structure and stability. Sourced in the USA.

Glycerin (and) Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract
Kakadu plum is an Australian superfruit known for having 100x the Vitamin C content of oranges. This extract reduces the signs of aging and increases skin elasticity, and is sourced from wild-harvested plums in Australia. Glycerin is derived from RSPO mass balance palm oil.
Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps maintain formula stability and prevents oxidative stress in skin. Ours is sourced from sunflower oil in Spain.

Water (Aqua)
Water is the solvent for many of our products and contributes to skin hydration.
X
Xanthan Gum
Xanthan gum is used to thicken formulations and provide a silky texture. It is a polysaccharide made by the bacteria Xanthomonas camprestris through fermentation.
