When I started brainstorming this product, I knew I wanted it to work for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive skin. I wanted it to be lightweight enough for daytime wear, but moisturizing enough to wear at night.

Who should use Day & Night Cream?
We've designed Day & Night Cream to work for all skin types - even sensitive skin! As a medium weight cream, you'll be able to use Day & Night Cream year round, at any time of day (or night). We've even tested it under makeup!
When should I use Day & Night Cream in my routine?
Day & Night Cream should come after cleansing and water-based serums, and before heavier products like oils and SPFs. Makeup goes last!
Is Day & Night Cream vegan?
Yes, Day & Night Cream is made without animal byproducts and is never tested on animals.
What are the star ingredients in Day & Night Cream?
I took a 3 step approach to long-lasting moisture. First, I included humectants that can pull water into the skin and create a hydrating and plumping effect. You’ll see Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, and Hyaluronic Acid on the ingredient list for this reason.
Next, I relied heavily on Organic Jojoba Oil for moisturizing the upper layers of the stratum corneum (your skin’s outermost layer). Jojoba is one of my favorite oils because it works wonders for all skin types including acne prone skin. On top of that, it is a perennial shrub that can grow in desert environments (v. sustainable!).
Lastly, I wanted an occlusive ingredient that would create a barrier to seal in all the other goodies. Traditionally, petrolatum is used for this purpose (yes, like Vaseline), but unfortunately it’s sourced from petroleum which is a no-no for me. Instead, I chose Pomegranate Phytosterols; these are naturally occurring lipids that can improve skin barrier function.
What are the other ingredients doing?
Water is the solvent and helps hydrate skin
Shea Butter and Hemisqualane (C13-15 Alkanes) are emollients that moisturize the skin
Tocopherol is an antioxidant and helps the natural oils stay stable in the formula
Xanthan Gum and Sclerotium Gum are thickeners to create the cream texture
Glyceryl Stearate SE, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, and Brassica Alcohol are naturally-derived emulsifiers that help hold the water and oil together in the formula
Citric Acid, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Anisate, and Sodium Levulinate are naturally-derived anti-microbial agents and pH adjusters that help keep the formula stable
